HTC Double Exposure Event Recap
HTC just released their new camera at their Double Exposure event today, designed to "enjoy AND also capture life's moments". The RE has a 16 mega pixel sensor and no viewfinder, it can be mounted on a variety of accessories from standard camera mounts to around necklaces even. RE is always on and has a touch sensor which will wake it when you pick it up. It is operated via a two button set up (one for capturing/recording, and another to activate slow-mo). HTC made it a point that this is not designed for people who "don't want to wear a GoPro on their head all the time", yet offers arm-bands and ironically even a head mount. RE camera will be compatible with iPhone and Android upon release.

Google I/O Recap
Image Credit: Google Developers on Google+
So as you may all know, Google I/O has come and gone. It ended about a week ago and there are still ripples in the blogosphere from initial contact. This year's event was marked by a significantly different approach to the android platform. With the preview of the upcoming version of android (to be released in the fall, more on that later) came Android Wear, Android TV, Android Auto and the one design language that unifies them all, Material design. This alongside some new features for your Chromecast sum up the bulk of the event.
