Earlier today we got news that Adrianne Palicki will join the cast of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as Bobbi Morse aka Mockingbird.
This is not the first time Adrianne Palicki plays a comic book character. In 2011 she played Wonder Woman in the pilot of the same name. But it was never picked up by NBC. Most people know Adrianne Palicki from G.I. Joe Retaliation and more recently as Dr. Samantha Lake from NBC’s About a Boy.

We all know that Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. run in the same timeline as the movies. In the comics, Mockingbird is married to Hawkeye who is played in the movies by Jeremy Renner.
It’s still unclear if Marvel will go and get them married in the movies or if they are going to keep their stories separate but who knows. We have already seen cameos from Nick Furry and Maria Hill in Marvel's agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. So who’s to say that Hawkeye won't do the same. We can only hope that they start an on screen relationship like in the comics that way we get to see more interaction between the show and the movies. Season 2 of Marvel's agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will premier on Sep. 23 at 9pm.
